New Delhi. The growing industrial partnership between Uttar Pradesh and Japan took a major leap on Wednesday. During the Uttar Pradesh-Japan Investment Conference 2026 held at the Taj Palace in New Delhi, a virtual ground-breaking ceremony was conducted for projects worth ₹3,195 crore by Escorts Kubota Limited and Minda Corporation Limited. These projects, coming up in the YEIDA region, will create more than 10,000 employment opportunities. At the same time, it will give momentum to the development of new manufacturing capabilities and Japanese investment in the state.
Doors to Open for Employment
Tractor and construction equipment manufacturer Escorts Kubota Limited is investing ₹2,029 crore to set up a manufacturing unit in Sector-10 of YEIDA. Tractors and related equipment products will be manufactured here. The project is expected to generate employment opportunities for over 3,800 people. Minda Corporation Limited is also establishing two major manufacturing projects in YEIDA. The company will invest a total of ₹1,166 crore in these projects, creating approximately 6,440 job opportunities.
New Opportunities for Ancillary Industries and Supply Chain Along with Industrial Activities in YEIDA
The combined investment of both companies stands at ₹3,195 crore, which will generate more than 10,000 employment opportunities. With these projects hitting the ground, new opportunities will be created in the YEIDA region for industrial activities, along with ancillary industries and the supply chain. This investment is also a sign of the strengthening industrial relations between Uttar Pradesh and Japan and the growing confidence of Japanese companies in the state.
